Committee Atlanta

WHAT

I support the IRC Atlanta, Tallahassee, and Miami offices with communications design and strategy. My focus is on translating communications materials into engaging digital content using a platform-friendly, story-focused approach.

WHY

I am a Communications Intern at the IRC’s Atlanta office, where we carry out the IRC’s RAI (Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration) programs to support refugees, trafficking victims, and immigrant youth.

HOW

I mainly worked on editorial and social content. Tasks include graphic design, copywriting, and video editing.

I also spearheaded strategic initiatives to build our social media presence. I refreshed our visual identity to be more tailored towards platform and design trends; and, I led collaborations with independent artists to widen our community reach and involvement.
